Candles made to be burned, not saved for best
Rapeseed and coconut wax, cotton wicks, and scents built to fill a room slowly. Cured for two weeks before they ever leave the studio.
The ones we cannot keep in stock
Poured by hand
Batches of forty at a time, weighed and poured in our studio. Never outsourced, never mass-produced.
Kinder ingredients
A rapeseed and coconut wax blend with cotton wicks. No paraffin, no palm, no synthetic dyes.
Refill, don't replace
Every vessel is designed to be washed out and used again. Send six back and the seventh refill is on us.
Two ways in
Start with a mood rather than a scent. Every candle is poured into the same reusable vessels.
Two people, one melter, a lot of failed batches
We started in a kitchen in 2019 with a secondhand melter and a stubborn idea that a candle should smell as good unlit as it does burning. It took eleven attempts to get the first scent right.
We still pour everything ourselves, still cure for a fortnight, and still test every batch at home before it goes on sale.
“I bought one as a gift and immediately had to order two more for myself. The fig one makes the whole downstairs smell like a garden.”
