UK standard delivery is 2–4 working days at £3.95, and free on orders over £50. UK express is £6.95 and arrives the next working day if you order before 1pm. Europe takes 5–7 working days from £9.95, and the rest of the world 7–14 working days from £14.95.

Yes, to most countries. Duties and import taxes are not included in the price and are payable on delivery. If your country is not offered at checkout, send us a message and we will look into it.

Orders placed before 1pm on a working day are usually posted the same afternoon. Anything after that goes out the next working day. If a candle is still curing we will email you with a date rather than hold the order quietly.

Get in touch within two hours of ordering and we can almost always change or cancel it. After that the parcel has usually gone.

Unused candles can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Message us through the contact page and we will send a returns label.

Send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace it or refund you, whichever you prefer. You will not need to post the damaged one back.

If something is wrong with how it burns — tunnelling, a wick that will not stay lit, an uneven melt pool — then yes. Tell us what happened and we will sort it out. We cannot refund a candle simply because the scent was not to taste, so do ask us about a scent before you buy if you are unsure.

The first burn sets the pattern for every burn after it.

• Trim the wick to 5 mm before every burn.
• Let the first burn run 2–3 hours so the melt pool reaches the edge.
• Never burn for longer than four hours at a time.
• Keep away from draughts, curtains, children and pets.
• Stop burning when 10 mm of wax remains.

Almost always a short first burn. Leave it lit long enough for the wax to melt right to the glass and it will usually correct itself over the next two or three burns.

Put the last of the wax in the freezer for an hour and it will lift out in one piece. Wash the vessel in warm soapy water and use it for whatever you like — or send six back to us and your seventh refill is free.

A rapeseed and coconut blend, with cotton wicks. No paraffin, no palm wax, no synthetic dye. Full ingredient lists are printed on the base of every candle.

Yes. Nothing we use is animal-derived and we do not test on animals.

Our wax and wicks are, but some essential oils are not ideal in a room a pet cannot leave. Burn in a ventilated room and give them a way out.

Everything arrives boxed in recycled card, so most orders can be given as they are. Add a note at checkout and we will include a handwritten card with your message and leave the receipt out.
